I’m really glad you’re posting this series, you’re totally vindicating my decision to spend a bunch of money shipping my bike to Montana when I go back there for a month and a half this summer. Everyone thinks I’m crazy, but I would die if I couldn’t ride it and really want to go try my first tour! The East Coast looks like it has some seriously great bike trails.

I think some people are upset b/c large concentrations of wind turbines can change airflow and weather patterns, which seems like a legitimate worry to me, even though I’m all for green energy and find them quite beautiful myself.
